Victor was back in the town of "laregban" and he found out he was out of contention for that month's "extreme adrenaline" event. He was out of favor, he sure made quite a few critics of his work and his way of being in general. "He couldn't care less" people thought. But he did.
After much criticism and he managed to chug on. He missed something. What was it? His temperament? Was it his adrenaline rush? Or was his Aura of invincibility :)
He didn't know. Not yet. And then he continued a wounded soldier due to all the criticism surrounding him. He suffered. But he had made great friends in "Udan" :)
Yes, it all seemed to unfold in front of him, the place is definitely magical. "How?" asked his mates. He replied with the cheer usually found in little children, he said "I've made friendship"
" the one for a lifetime".
And then he somehow survived and a miraculous wild card entry got him to the"extreme adrenaline event". Destiny? One would say so. People had come from far and wide to attend this one. Even the "Udanians". This was a historical moment as "Adrenaline Inc." was about to start a new venture in "Nupa" another country to the west of "Udan". Everyone were ecstatic. They was a big day. Yet for Victor it didn't do any good. He was run-down by his peers even on this day. His glorious past counting for nothing. He had no laurels to bank upon.
The Team"Adrenaline Inc." then went to an oasis to rejoice,many-a Victor's friends up against near tragedy face to face. Even Victors close friend "Nanho" was involved. But they survived the scare to tell the tale! All was well. Or was it?
Even Aura made it to the event after much mystery on whether she would. Victor seemed to know about this. He seemed exultant. Why?
He was happy that the best adventurer is present there, thereby just adding yet another shining star glorifying the event.
Then the following month Victor was inches away from being rusticated. He survived the scare. "Only the lord knows how" he would say. By now, it was evident he had made a few "non-believers" of his work and himself.
The times passed by, things just getting worse for him. Aura was kickin' up a storm in "Udan" her feats unassailable. Nanho also was making a name for himself in "laregban".
And the name of Victor was mentioned by fewer and fewer people and he was invited to no events. The fall was apparent.
